Lack of info halts botox for stroke patients
NCT ID NCT07422428
Summary
This study looked back at why stroke survivors with chronic muscle stiffness stopped their Botox (BoNT-A) injections. Researchers reviewed records and surveyed 81 patients who had received at least one treatment. They found the main reason people stopped was simply not knowing they needed to continue the therapy.
