Can a simple whole foods diet help teens lose fat?
NCT ID NCT06464497
Summary
This pilot study is testing whether an 8-week whole foods diet, which doesn't require calorie counting, can help reduce body fat in teenagers with obesity. The study involves 60 participants, including teens and a parent, to see if focusing on healthy food groups improves body composition and overall diet quality for the whole family. Researchers will also explore what helps or hinders families in sticking to this type of diet.
