First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at how whole-body vibration (standing on a vibrating platform) activates muscles automatically. Researchers tested 40 healthy adults aged 20-40 using different body positions and vibration speeds. Muscle activity was recorded with skin sensors. The goal was to better understand how vibration affects nerves and muscles, which may help design better rehabilitation exercises in the future.
