Vibrating platform may boost knee pain relief
NCT ID NCT07382037
First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding whole-body vibration to standard hip and knee exercises reduces pain and improves function more than exercises alone in people with patellofemoral pain syndrome (front knee pain). About 40 adults aged 18–40 with unilateral knee pain will be randomly assigned to receive either real or placebo vibration during their exercise sessions. The goal is to find a better way to manage this common knee condition.
