New labor chart aims for safer births for mom and baby
NCT ID NCT07445373
Summary
This study aims to find out if a newer labor monitoring tool from the World Health Organization (WHO) leads to better outcomes for mothers and babies than the older chart currently used. Researchers will randomly assign 114 women in active labor to be monitored with either the new guide or the traditional chart. They will compare how long labor lasts, how the baby is delivered, and the health of both mother and newborn.
