WHO-Style labor care may ease pain and boost mood after birth

Summary

This study will test whether a special care model based on World Health Organization guidelines can help women in labor feel less pain, more comfort, and greater satisfaction. The approach focuses on respectful, supportive, and woman-centered care during childbirth. Researchers will also check if this care reduces the risk of postpartum depression. About 108 pregnant women at term will take part.
