First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looked at whether using a strong whitening gel every other day causes less tooth sensitivity than using it every day. 110 adults used a 16% carbamide peroxide gel in a custom tray for two hours. The goal was to see if the every-other-day approach could reduce pain while still whitening teeth effectively.
