NCT ID NCT07276594

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looked at whether listening to white noise or squeezing a stress ball during a non-stress test (a routine check on the baby) could lower anxiety and fear in 168 pregnant women scheduled for a planned C-section. Women were split into four groups: white noise only, stress ball only, both, or neither. The goal was to see if these simple tools help moms feel calmer and improve the baby's well-being before surgery.
