Womb-Like sound may quiet crying babies during needle pokes
NCT ID NCT07453641
Summary
This study is testing if playing white noise can help calm 1-3 month old babies and reduce their crying during brief medical procedures like blood draws. Researchers will measure how long babies cry when white noise is used compared to when it is not. The goal is to find a simple, safe, non-drug method to ease pain and stress for infants in the hospital.
