Needles vs. standard care: new hope for whiplash sufferers?
NCT ID NCT06938425
Summary
This study aims to see if adding specific needle-based therapies to standard physical therapy works better for treating whiplash pain and stiffness after a car accident. Researchers will compare two techniques—percutaneous electrolysis and deep dry needling—against standard physical therapy alone in 36 adults with whiplash. The main goal is to find which approach best reduces pain, improves neck function, and helps muscles heal.
