Double power: Protein-Collagen combo beats single supplements for building muscle and strengthening bones
NCT ID NCT07171411
Summary
This study tested if taking whey protein and collagen together works better for muscle and bone health than taking just one or a placebo. Forty healthy, young men who regularly lift weights were split into four groups and followed a supervised workout plan for eight weeks. The group taking both whey and collagen showed the biggest improvements in muscle growth, spine bone density, and strength.
