Online training tested to stop painful bedsores in wheelchair users

NCT ID NCT07438899

Summary

This study tested whether online training could help wheelchair users prevent painful pressure sores (also called bedsores). Researchers gave 78 participants in Turkey either the training or usual care and followed them for 12 weeks. They wanted to see if the training improved people's knowledge and helped them take better care of their skin to prevent sores from forming or help existing ones heal.
