Summary
This study tested whether sending bowel preparation instructions via WhatsApp videos and reminders improves colon cleanliness for colonoscopy compared to standard in-person counseling. 110 adults scheduled for elective colonoscopy were randomly assigned to receive instructions either through WhatsApp or traditional counseling. Researchers measured how clean the colon was during the procedure to see which method worked better.
