Summary

This study asked 830 adults in Denmark what matters most to them when preparing for surgery or a colonoscopy. Researchers wanted to see if feeling prepared helps people recover better at home. Participants filled out a questionnaire on the day of their procedure and a follow-up survey three days later. The study did not test any treatment or medication.
