NCT ID NCT06864208

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether a program that helps teens cope with weight stigma can improve their weight management. About 64 teens aged 13-17 with a high BMI will be randomly assigned to either a 4-week stigma-focused group or a general health education group, followed by a 16-week weight management program. Researchers will measure changes in self-stigma, stress hormones, inflammation, and eating behaviors.
