Summary
This study aims to understand how weight loss surgery affects sexual function, hormone levels, and mood in women with severe obesity. Researchers will follow 40 women and their partners, comparing their health before surgery and six months after. The goal is to gather information to help doctors better counsel patients about what to expect after surgery, particularly regarding sexual health and quality of life.
