Sugar beads could help obese patients shed pounds and improve health

Summary
This study tests whether special dextrose (sugar) beads, taken twice daily, can help people with obesity and related conditions like high blood pressure lose weight. About 102 adults will receive either the active beads or a placebo for 24 weeks. The main goal is to see how much weight they lose and if their blood pressure and cholesterol improve.
