Summary

This study tested a new lollipop that contains pain medicine (diclofenac) for children aged 4 to 12 after tonsil surgery. The lollipop was designed to be easier and more pleasant for kids to take than regular medicine. Fifty children received a lollipop every 8 hours for the first day after surgery, and researchers measured their pain levels, how well they liked the lollipop, and any side effects.
