Weekly shot tested to tame tough 'Double Diabetes'

NCT ID NCT05305794

Summary

This study is testing if a weekly injection called semaglutide can help adults who have features of both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, a condition sometimes called 'double diabetes.' The goal is to see if the drug can make the body respond better to insulin and improve blood sugar control. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the weekly injection alongside their usual insulin therapy or to continue with their usual insulin therapy alone.
