First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving doctors access to a special website helps them follow guidelines for prescribing benzodiazepines (drugs for anxiety and sleep problems). The goal is to reduce how long new patients take these medications, since long-term use can be harmful. About 100 general practitioners in France will take part, and researchers will check prescription records to see if the tool makes a difference.
