Smart tech guides heart patients to faster recovery

NCT ID NCT06801314

Summary

This study tested whether starting guided exercises soon after heart bypass surgery helps patients recover better. 84 patients were split into groups doing either usual care, aerobic exercise, or strength training, with some using wearable heart monitors for safety. The goal was to see if these monitored exercises improved walking ability, strength, and independence before leaving the hospital.
