Light therapy headband trial offers new hope for elderly depression
NCT ID NCT07232472
Summary
This study is testing whether wearable technology can help manage depression and sleep issues in older adults. Researchers will have 162 participants wear an activity tracker and test a special light therapy headband to see if it improves mood and sleep. The goal is to create a better monitoring and treatment model using technology, while building Taiwan's first research database combining wearable data with health information for elderly depression.
