First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether early exercise guided by wearable AI heart monitors can improve recovery after coronary artery bypass surgery. 84 patients were split into three groups: usual care, usual care plus aerobic exercise, or usual care plus resistance exercise. Both exercise groups used smart monitors for real-time safety guidance. The goal was to see if these exercises improved functional capacity before patients left the hospital.
