Wristbands reveal COVID's hidden toll on heart and mind
NCT ID NCT04605965
Summary
This study aimed to understand the long-term health effects of COVID-19 by monitoring patients after they left the hospital. Researchers gave 200 people who had COVID-19 a special wristband to wear. The device tracked their heart health, sleep, and activity while they also answered surveys about their mental well-being, to see if the virus caused lasting problems.
