Can your smartphone track muscle weakness? new study aims to find out

NCT ID NCT07224386

Not yet recruiting Knowledge-focused Sponsor: BioSensics Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study aims to see if wearable sensors and smartphone apps can reliably track the symptoms of myasthenia gravis (MG), a condition that causes muscle weakness. Over 12 months, 50 participants will wear activity sensors and complete digital speech and video tasks at home. The goal is to see if data from these devices matches up with standard paper questionnaires doctors use, potentially leading to better, more continuous symptom tracking.
