NCT ID NCT05655832

First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a wearable sensor (like a smartwatch) can help track symptoms and predict sudden worsening of COPD. 77 people with COPD wore the device for 3 months, while a small group without COPD wore it for 2 weeks. The goal was to see if data like heart rate, activity, and cough frequency could signal a flare-up early.
