First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether a personalized exercise program done 2-4 weeks before knee or hip replacement surgery can improve thinking and reduce confusion (delirium) after the operation. About 28 adults aged 55 and older will either follow a tailored exercise plan using wearable devices or receive standard care. The goal is to see if this "prehabilitation" approach helps patients recover better.
