Summary

This study tracks 60 tracheostomy patients using wearable devices to measure heart rate, breathing, and other body signals before and after their breathing tube is removed. The goal is to show the health benefits of removing the tube as early as possible. Participants wear the device at four key times: when admitted, before using a speaking valve, just before tube removal, and before leaving the hospital.
