Wearable tech trial aims to track rare brain disease

NCT ID NCT07389018

Not yet recruiting Knowledge-focused Sponsor: SYSNAV Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study is testing whether a wearable device can be used to monitor the movement of people with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy-Richardson Syndrome (PSP-R), a rare brain disorder. It will involve 30 participants wearing the device at home to see if it's practical and comfortable. The data from the device will be compared to standard tests done in the clinic to see if it gives similar information about how the disease is progressing.
