Wearable lifesaver: study tracks heart device in thousands
NCT ID NCT05135403
Summary
This study is collecting real-world data to monitor how well and how safely a wearable defibrillator works for adults at risk of sudden cardiac arrest. It will track over 5,000 patients who are already prescribed the device to see how often it successfully treats dangerous heart rhythms and how rarely it delivers unnecessary shocks. The goal is to confirm the device's performance in everyday life after it has received regulatory approval.
