Scientists test wearable 'Sleep Hat' to tune your brainwaves

NCT ID NCT07190287

Summary

This study tested a special wearable device that uses gentle, targeted ultrasound to try to change REM sleep patterns in the brain. Researchers wanted to see if it was safe and if it could affect sleep quality and stress levels. They studied 52 healthy adults, some with mild sleep issues, by recording their brain activity over two nights—one with the device off and one with it on.
