NCT ID NCT07372664

First seen Feb 02, 2026

Summary

This study aims to confirm if a new measurement called the Volume-Velocity Index (VVI) can accurately predict when patients on mechanical ventilators are ready to breathe independently. Researchers will observe 100 adults who are already considered ready for weaning by their doctors. The goal is to reduce time on ventilators and improve patient outcomes.
