NCT ID NCT07437651

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested a new app called WayFinder Ride designed to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) request rides from Uber or Lyft. Sixty adults with IDD tried both the new app and the regular Uber/Lyft apps. Researchers tracked how many errors each person made and how much help they needed. The goal was to see if the new app makes it easier and more accessible for people with IDD to use rideshare services independently.
