NCT ID NCT06497426
First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether drinking a set amount of water each day (30-35 ml per kg of body weight) could improve how older adults in nursing homes build muscle. 17 people aged 65 and older took part, with some drinking the set amount and others drinking as usual. The goal was to see if better hydration helps the body use protein and maintain muscle strength.
