NCT ID NCT07364916

First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a water flosser can reverse early gum disease (mucositis) around a single dental implant. Twenty adults with at least one implant will use a water flosser, and researchers will check for bleeding and plaque at 2 and 4 weeks. The goal is to see if water flossing can control inflammation without the need for more invasive treatments.
