Can a water flosser save your dental implants?
NCT ID NCT07364916
Summary
This study is testing if using a water flosser along with regular brushing is better than brushing alone for reducing gum inflammation and plaque around single dental implants. Twenty adults with a specific type of mild gum inflammation around their implant will be randomly assigned to either use a water flosser twice daily for two weeks or just brush normally. Researchers will check for gum bleeding and plaque levels before and after the two-week period to see which method works better.
