Summary
This study compared two ways to clean between teeth—water flosser vs interdental brush—in 70 people with a permanent retainer glued to the back of their lower teeth. The goal was to see which method better reduces plaque, bleeding, and gum inflammation over six months. Results will help dentists recommend the best tool for keeping gums healthy around retainers.
