Braces battle: water jet vs. tiny brush in gum health showdown
NCT ID NCT07240428
Summary
This study tested whether a water flosser or a small interdental brush is better at controlling plaque and gum inflammation for people wearing braces. 75 adults with braces used one tool on the left side of their mouth and the other tool on the right side for three months. Researchers measured plaque buildup and gum health to see which method worked better.
