Free water filters offered in fight against arsenic poisoning

NCT ID NCT07103356

Summary

This study is testing whether a free table-top water filter pitcher can reduce arsenic exposure for people who get their drinking water from private wells. Researchers will give 20 eligible New Hampshire residents a filter and replacement cartridges, then measure arsenic levels in their water and urine over 12 weeks. The goal is to see if the filter works and to understand what helps or prevents people from using it long-term.
