Mobile health fight against cholera: can a kit and texts stop the spread?
NCT ID NCT05166850
Summary
This study is testing a new program designed to prevent cholera and severe diarrhea from spreading within households in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Researchers will enroll about 2,900 people from households where someone is being treated for diarrhea. The program provides a prevention kit with soap, water treatment tablets, and storage containers, plus mobile phone messages, to see if it reduces illness in other family members.
