Wart wars: vitamin d shots battle antiviral injections in skin study

NCT ID NCT07448844

Summary

This study tests whether injecting vitamin D3 or the antiviral drug acyclovir directly into skin warts helps clear them. Researchers will compare both treatments in 40 people with common, plantar, or flat warts to see which works better and causes fewer side effects. Participants receive injections every two weeks for up to eight weeks and are followed for three months to check if warts return.
