Wart war: vitamin D3 injections take on antiviral drug in new trial

Summary

This study tests whether injecting vitamin D3 or the antiviral drug acyclovir directly into warts can clear them. Forty people aged 12 and older with common, plantar, flat, or nail warts will receive up to 4 injections every 2 weeks. The main goal is to see which treatment leads to complete wart clearance by week 8, and to track any side effects.
