First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested two injected treatments for skin warts caused by HPV. One treatment uses a combination of heart medications (furosemide and digoxin), and the other uses a standard solution (polidocanol). The goal was to see which works better at clearing warts and has fewer side effects. 64 adults with warts took part, and they were followed for 6 months to check for wart return.
