Can a heavy Warm-Up help you lift more?
NCT ID NCT06825065
Summary
This study tested whether a specific warm-up routine could help trained weightlifters perform more repetitions. Nine experienced male lifters tried two different warm-ups before doing squat sets to failure. Researchers measured if the heavy warm-up led to lifting more total weight or doing more reps compared to a lighter warm-up.
