Scientists test if walking with cuffs on legs helps older muscles
NCT ID NCT07275138
Summary
This study aims to understand how walking while wearing special cuffs that partially restrict blood flow affects the heart, muscles, and walking patterns in healthy older adults. Researchers will measure blood pressure, heart rate, muscle strength, and balance in 20 participants aged 60-90. Each person will walk under four different conditions, including different restriction levels and a normal walk for comparison.
