NCT ID NCT06023069

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the number of steps a person takes each day (tracked by their phone) can help predict how well they recover after non-cardiac surgery. Researchers will follow 264 adults having planned surgery and compare their step counts to complications and days spent at home after the operation. The goal is to find a simple, low-cost way to identify patients who may need extra support.
