Robotic harness helps spinal injury patients relearn Real-World walking
NCT ID NCT03534518
Summary
This study tested whether a new type of walking training is better than standard treadmill training for people with chronic spinal cord injury. Fourteen participants tried either overground training with a robotic support system or treadmill training for four weeks. Researchers measured which method better improved walking speed, balance, and ability to handle real-world obstacles like slopes and stairs.
