NCT ID NCT07114146
First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at how walking in different forest environments changes heart rate, blood pressure, and mood compared to walking indoors on a treadmill. Sixteen healthy adults took part, each completing walks in three forest settings and one indoor control. Researchers measured heart rate variability, blood pressure, and mood before and after each walk. The goal was to see if nature exposure helps regulate the body's stress response.
