Summary
This study tested two ways of numbing the arm for hand, wrist, or elbow surgery to see which one reduces pain after the procedure. 91 adults having outpatient surgery received either lidocaine alone or lidocaine plus ropivacaine. The goal was to find which approach gives better pain control and recovery in the first 48 hours after surgery.
