Summary

This study aims to improve health in Wabanaki communities by expanding a mobile food pantry that provides fresh and traditional foods. Researchers will measure changes in food security and quality of life among 500 adult tribal members. The goal is to understand how reconnecting with ancestral foods can reduce nutrition-related diseases like diabetes and heart disease.
